is the compensation act even legal

Was the second session thirteenth Parliament OF BRITISH COLUMBIA in 1914 nothing but a farce that was being committed on the working class of this country.Due to the fact that that the fundamental right to have a injured workers cases heard before a court was being given away. The only legal way for this to be done was to have a plebiscite on the case.To our knowledge this was never done which means the so called Meredith princeable was a lie there was no historic handshake therefore no agreement

Health Canada and the Tobbaco Industry

When It Comes To Legislation Unquestionably, one of the highlights in Canadian tobacco control was the successful defence in 2002 of the Tobacco Act and its regulations. In 1997 the three major tobacco manufacturers in Canada - JTI-Macdonald Corp. (formerly RJR-Macdonald Inc.), Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. and Imperial Tobacco Canada Ltd. - launched a constitutional court challenge of those sections of the Act and its regulations which impose restrictions on advertising and sponsorship, and require tobacco manufacturers to print pictorial health warning messages on cigarette packages. Officials from Health Canada, together with lawyers representing the Attorney General of Canada, participated in the preparation for trial as well as the hearings (from January through September of 2002). There were roughly 1000 exhibits at trial and 81 days of transcribed testimony. Twenty-six sections of the Act were challenged; four different sections of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms were invoked; there were additional arguments based on federal/provincial powers and other legal issues. In its December 2002 decision, the Quebec Superior Court fully upheld the constitutionality of the Tobacco Act and its regulations. Some excerpts from the ruling included,'The tobacco companies are in a particularly difficult position. They sell a harmful product and know it. They have the right to sell it because outright prohibition would be unrealistic. ... They offer no evidence to rebut the claimed ill effects of cigarettes because there is none. ... Their evidence respecting the effects of advertising was unconvincing. They are trying to save an industry in inevitable decline. They have every right to do so. Their rights, however, cannot be given the same legitimacy as the government's duty to protect public health.' (The three manufacturers are appealing this decision.)

Mr Harper speaks with forked tongue

where the two rivers meet that Harper speaks of is where the country was stolen from the first peoples for ten shillings. And the Jewish people were returned from this country to Germany to be butchered during the second world war and the injured worker is not included in this so called human rights. So exactly does the injured work fit in to this so called human rights equation.

civil rights for injured workers: new human rights museum in Canada

civil rights for injured workers: new human rights museum in Canada

new human rights museum in Canada

In any country that strives for human rights and the betterment of all mankind must pay attention to the the rights of the few as well as those of the many.for if the human rights of the few are lost then the rights of the many are in jeopardy and no one organization has this right.

Union based injured worker sites are the pawns of the wcb and the unions with the conservatives and liberals you know for sure they will not help you.But the NDP and the unions claim they are fighting for your rights but they are more interested in protect their sister union the government employee's union which our tormentor's belong to.

questions to Jim Sinclair about suicides because of WCB

191 deaths in 1996 in BC alone and when Linda Reid asked Moe Sahota about this in house of commons he sounded vague and said he did not know about this. But when she pressed him on the issue and asked what the percentage of suicides was because of WCB he said about 1% this information is available in the 1996 provincial Hanszard the goverment script of what takes place in the provincial legislature. Now if the number was 1% in 1996 what is the number now and how many decent hardworking people have died since then in this country.WHERE ARE THE HUMAN RIGHTS IN THIS COUNTRY

Doctors that help WCB cause secondary injuries

doctors that help the wcb i...
doctors are like tradesmen there are good ones and bad ones there are ones that follow the Hippocrates oath and ones that have forgotten it.Ask your doctor if he supports the bad(WCB) faith act if he says that he does not support it then he should contact the college of physicians and surgeons and ask why when a doctor gives his opinion and it does not meet with the wcb's approval then they ignore it and come to their own conclusion overriding the opinion of a man who has attended university and medical school. If he refuses then he supports it.

BC FERDERATION OF LABOUR SLEEPS WITH WORKSAFE BC

The very people that torment and deny injured workers their rightful due are good dues paying union members of the BC Government employee's union they go to their union meetings and talk about their rights on the job. While they torture other workers. They worry about whether their pension plans are being taken care of just like all other good union members.Well they can rest easy on that account because Jim Sinclair will see to it that they have nothing to worry about in their old age.But I doubt that a injured worker that has only been a union member for a couple of years will receive the same tender care from Mr.Sinclair that he affords the pensions of the police and the WorkSafeBC and civic employee's pensions. The company that Jim Sinclair sits on is called SHARE and they have to be signatory to the united nations because this one invests in foreign country's part of this company's portfolio IS BC INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT CORPORATION which invests the WCB fund in tobacco company's all over the world and in LOCKHEED MARTIN the biggest supplier of arms in the American war machine amongst other things.
